  • 2 oz coconut oil (about 1/4 cup), melted
  • 3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tbsp 100% pure maple syrup
  • pinch pink Himalayan salt
  • 36 raw almonds
  • 15 g dried tart cherries (about 12 pieces), chopped into quarters

  1. In a small bowl, add melted coconut oil, cocoa powder, maple syrup and salt. Whisk together until smooth.

  2. Select a bite-size silicone treat mold (mine is 1.5 in x 1.5 in squares). A mini muffin pan would work too, just be sure to line it with paper mini cups.

  3. Fill 12 of the treat cavities with 1 teaspoon of the chocolate mixture.

  4. Next, drop 3 almonds and 4 pieces of the chopped cherries into each cavity.

  5. Finish each chocolate by topping with another teaspoon of the chocolate mixture.

  6. Place the chocolates into the freezer to set for 10 minutes.

  7. They are now ready for indulgence!! They are best stored in the freezer.
