Often, we find the things we enjoy most in life are simple. Family, morning coffee, sunshine . . . these sorts of simple yet celebrated features are what make us feel joy inside. I find this also applies to various foods. Especially when those foods not only taste amazing, but are nutritionally beneficial as well. Win and win!
This Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal is one of those feel-good, simple things for me. The ingredients are so basic, but after letting the oats, apples and cinnamon simmer together, they produce a creamy, nutty, sweet bowl of perfection. It’s actually almost hard to believe there’s no sugar added to it!
So, if you’re looking for a great way to kickstart your day, this is it!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Reminding ourselves of what we are grateful for is such a powerful way to uplift our spirits. I try to do this as often as I can. It helps to keep me humble and be the best version of myself.

I find a sweeter apple (I used Fuji) tastes best.
Sounds yummy!
Like adding apple pie to my oatmeal.
I’ve been focusing on my morning oatmeal, as in, I’ve been eating oatmeal or some hot cereal form more often for breakfast. Delicious. Nutritious. And so many tasty varieties. I’ll try this one next. Thanks!
